Musée d’Horlogerie du Locle
A magnificent 18th century residence is home to a rich collection of clocks, miniature automatons and unique pieces.
What the activity involves
In the unusual setting of the Château des Monts, at the highest point of the town of Le Locle, a series of rooms with typical décor serve as the backdrop to a magnificent collection of clocks, automatons and instruments for measuring time. A “singing bird” mirror made by the Rochat brothers at the beginning of the 19th century is considered to be the highlight of the museum.
