Public tour of the Panerai Manufacture
Panerai, which has been in Neuchâtel since 2002, has opened up its manufacturing process to the general public, offering immersion in a world of innovation and cutting-edge technology.
What the activity involves
Visit a watch manufacturer, get as close to the experts as it’s possible to do, and follow the process of creation of a watch. At Panerai, every innovation starts in the “Laboratorio di Idee”, more commonly known as the Research and Development Department. It then goes through a number of stages: from prototype to choice of materials, manufacture and decoration of components, followed by homologation tests. It is only after multiple checking and validation stages that the watch comes to life in the deft hands of the watchmakers, at the core of the assembly workshops. A 2.5-hour immersive experience is offered to you in an avant-garde manufacture.
